A nourishing workshop that invites you to probe and translate something of yourself, through the composition of irregular still-life photographs. At the center of attention will be the research of materials, the analysis of their formal characteristics and the multiple possibilities of transformation.
The final phase will involve the participants in an installation of the images produced within the gallery's exhibition space. Aimed at enthusiasts, students and professionals of the image, curious about unconventional material experimentation and new design methodologies.
Studio Fludd is a visual design collective founded in Venice in 2008 by Matteo Baratto, Caterina Gabelli and Sara Maragotto, which takes its name from Robert Fludd, an extraordinary 16th century alchemist. The studio works at the intersections of art direction, illustration and visual arts, exhibition design, styling and visual education. Studio Fludd mixes visual analogies and conceptual reactions, with an eclectic and inexorably curious attitude, to offer customized design and creative solutions.
